About Us

Pawsitive Pet Health Certificates, LLC is owned and operated by seasoned pet health professionals with over 25 years’ experience in the veterinary industry.  We started PPHC because we were frustrated by the lack of resources available to USDA Accredited Veterinarians for completing health certificates in an efficient, repeatable way.  We understand the stress and confusion that comes with completing international health certificates for pet owners, not to mention keeping up with the constant changes to pet import regulations across the world PPHC makes it easy for USDA Accredited Veterinarians to stay current with the latest requirements for every country, because we do it every day!  We are members of the International Pet and Animal Transportation Association (IPATA), which gives us access to an international network of pet shippers and the most up-to-date information about pet travel regulations, country and airline requirements, and other industry expert knowledge.

We provide the vet and pet owner with full veterinary consultation and support throughout the travel prep process, including preparing vaccine certificates, and coordinating pre-export testing and treatments as required.  PPHC works closely with the USDA to ensure a smooth health certificate endorsement and to closely track paperwork back to the responsible party in time for the pet to travel.

This process can be aggravating and time-consuming for both veterinary professionals and pet parents.  With PPHC by your side, veterinarians can focus on their patients, and pet parents can rest assured knowing that their pets are in the best paws!

About the Owners

Nicole lives in New Hampshire with her husband and two daughters on a small farm that includes horses, goats, chickens, cats, and their rottweiler, Chief. Nicole's background includes over 16 years as a veterinary technician - the last 10 years as the hospital manager.  Nicole's background has inspired her to co-found PPHC with the goal of helping veterinarians provide these specialized services to better serve their clients and community. When she isn’t helping veterinary professionals and clients move their beloved pets around the world, you can find Nicole spending time with her family hiking, swimming, in her flower gardens, or enjoying all her pets on her farm!

Mary brings over a decade of experience in the zoo and veterinary industries as an expert in animal husbandry and behavior.  Mary co-founded PPHC after realizing how few resources are available to help USDA vets and their teams complete international health certificates.  Mary also loves exploring the outdoors with her dogs – Lanai, Calypso, and Kai.  She currently lives in Idaho and never quite left the zoo behind - Mary also shares her home with a motley crew of reptiles and a ferret named Sif.  Crocheting, gardening, singing, and as much travel to Hawaii as possible fill her free time.
